Unforgettable Betrayal

At 11:00 PM, the quiet surgical room of the clinic was illuminated only by a dim, blue glow. Aaradhya lay on the table with two thin electrodes attached to her temples. The green lines pulsing across the monitor tracked her brain activity—specifically targeting the memories she had personally signed to erase.
"Are you completely ready, Aaradhya?" the doctor’s solemn voice echoed. "After this 'Memory Wipe Neural Therapy,' Rehan’s name, his touch, his betrayal... everything will be gone forever."
Aaradhya simply nodded with her eyes closed. A warm tear slipped from the corner of her eye. Rehan... her first love, and the very man who had abandoned her in a deep abyss just two weeks before their wedding. The pain of his betrayal was so sharp that Aaradhya was dying with every breath she took. The machine emitted a soft beep. A sharp neuro-sensory shock spread through her brain, followed by nothing but a quiet, nameless silence.
Six months later.
Aaradhya was now the Head of Design at a major corporate firm. Her life had achieved a sense of stability, yet an unfamiliar emptiness lingered on the left side of her chest—as if a crucial page of a book had been torn away.
Just then, at the company's anniversary party, the welcome of the new board of directors was announced.
The room was filled with soft music and the subtle aroma of whiskey. Aaradhya stood near the window holding her drink when a sudden silence fell over the entire hall. The new partner, 'Vikram Mehra,' made his entrance dressed in a sleek black tuxedo. He was strikingly attractive—with a sharp jawline, messy thick hair, and deep, mesmerizing eyes.
The moment Aaradhya’s eyes fell upon him, the glass in her hand nearly slipped. Her heart began to race for no apparent reason. An uncontrollable shiver ran through her soul, as if her entire being recognized that unfamiliar face, even though her mind was completely blank.
Vikram walked straight toward Aaradhya. There was a distinct aura of dominance in his gait, and on his lips rested a smile that was as lethal as it was captivating.
"Hello, Aaradhya," Vikram said in his deep, velvety voice, extending his hand.
As soon as Aaradhya’s fingers touched Vikram’s warm palm, goosebumps broke out across her skin. An unfamiliar, intense magnetic pull began drawing her toward him.
"Have... have we met somewhere before?" slipped out of Aaradhya’s lips without a second thought.
A deep storm flickered in Vikram's eyes for a brief second. Leaning in close to her ear, he whispered, "Not at all. If I had met you before, I would have never let you get away from me."
Over the next few weeks, Vikram took complete hold of Aaradhya’s thoughts. He wasn’t Rehan—at least not to Aaradhya. Vikram was immensely confident, slightly eccentric, and intensely passionate.
Late one night, amid the chill of the air conditioner in the empty office penthouse cabin, the distance between them dissolved forever.
Clasping Aaradhya by the waist, Vikram hoisted her onto the large glass office table in a single, fluid motion. The files, pen stand, and laptop resting on the desk slid off and crashed onto the floor, but in that heavy silence, neither of them cared about the clatter. The only sounds filling the room were the hum of the air conditioner and the ragged rhythm of their breathing.
Vikram’s fingers began to trace the buttons of Aaradhya’s silk blouse. As they unbuttoned one by one, the rush of cool air accelerated her breathing. She closed her eyes tight, but Vikram’s touch carried such a strange, hypnotic spell that her body involuntarily gravitated toward him. Sliding the fabric off her shoulders, he poured the heat of his fingers across her bare back. There was an obsession in his touch—a possessive, simmering anger that shook Aaradhya to her core.
When the cold glass of the table touched Aaradhya’s bare back, a soft, trembling gasp escaped her lips. Vikram gave her no room to gather herself. Pinning both her wrists above her head onto the glass, he stared deep into her eyes. In his gaze lay more than just desire; there was a wild madness and a hunger to dominate.
"Were you trying to run away from me, Aaradhya?" Vikram’s voice echoed as a low whisper right against her neck. "Because your body cannot deny me."
He traced the contours of her waist with a gentle, lingering rustle of his fingers. The sensation was so sharp and intoxicating that Aaradhya’s entire being quivered. She tried to resist, but as Vikram’s lips slid from her neck down to her shoulder and further below, all her resistance melted into a deep, helpless sigh.
The first encounter unfolded right there on the table—a fierce, raw, and unbridled passion where their breathing and heartbeats entangled. Every touch, every pressure from Vikram dragged Aaradhya into a depth where the ability to think simply ceased. She squeezed her eyes shut and dug her fingers tightly into his back.
Yet, that was merely the beginning.
As the night deepened, the intensity inside the cabin kept rising. Hoisting her up from the table, Vikram carried her straight to the massive leather couch in the corner. Throwing her onto the leather, he did not give Aaradhya a single moment to catch her breath. Under the dim blue light, his face appeared even more mysterious and lethal.
He began to kiss and explore every inch of her body entirely at his whim. There was a stubborn entitlement in his touch, as if he intended to carve his name onto her flesh. Aaradhya’s breath grew ragged; her body responded instinctively to his every move. When the last remaining distance between them dissolved, the room echoed with nothing but the noise of their heavy breathing and the sensation of being completely lost in one another.
This second union was deeper, slower, and far more soul-shattering than the first. Aaradhya felt as though she were collapsing into a deep trance, where the boundaries between pain and ecstasy blurred beyond recognition.
Then, as the final hours of the night set in and the city lights outside the window began to fade, the third storm hit.
When Aaradhya’s back hit the cold glass wall, a sharp shiver ran down her spine. Against the backdrop of the scattered city lights below, Vikram’s toned body overwhelmed her completely from behind. One of his heavy palms was wrapped tightly around her waist, while his other hand tilted her head back.
"Look at me, Aaradhya..." Vikram’s heavy, ragged breath scorched her earlobe. "Look at your eyes in the glass... and tell me who you belong to."
Aaradhya’s fingers slid along the glass, leaving behind trails of condensation and fingerprints. Every thrust, the raw lust of his touch, and the desperate intensity shook Aaradhya’s existence to its foundation. Her body had conformed entirely to Vikram’s rhythm—no thoughts, no hesitation, just blind, helpless surrender.
Vikram’s obsession crossed every limit during this third round. He offered Aaradhya not a single second to recover. As his firm grip tightened around her thighs, a stifled, drunken gasp broke from her lips. Her head rolled back, resting against Vikram’s shoulder. In that moment, the final mental wall of her sanity crumbled. She sank completely into an ocean of overwhelming lust and raw attraction.
When the first golden ray of dawn pierced through the glass window, the entire room had fallen silent.
Aaradhya lay on the carpeted floor, glistening with fine beads of sweat, her head resting on Vikram’s broad, bare chest. Her breathing was still slowly stabilizing, and a sweet ache throbbed through her body. Vikram’s fingers traced idly along her bare back.
Aaradhya closed her eyes and listened to the steady beat of Vikram’s heart. She felt as though she had reached the absolute peak of surrender and passion—a high she had never experienced in her entire life. Yet, she remained completely blind to the agonizing truth: that night of relentless frenzy was not an act of love, but Rehan’s terrifying and twisted game to reclaim what he believed was rightfully his.
